Stacking the Shelves #12

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews  and is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves be it in virtual form or physical. You can include books you’ve won, bought, borrowed from the library or review books.

P.S. I post most of my STS at the end of each month.

In the month of July I.....

Bought

Ironskin (Ironskin #1) by Tina Connolly

My BookOutlet order finally came! I had a coupon so these books came out super cheap which I'm glad for. I'd been wanting to read these books for quite some time, especially The Madman's Daughter trilogy! As for the doll leaning on my books, isn't she just the cutest?! I couldn't resist buying her!

For Review

Ella, The Slayer by A.W. Exley
Nameless by Jennifer Jenkins
Magno Girl by Joe Canzano

I can never resist retellings, so of course Ella, The Slayer was no different especially since it's about Cinderella and Zombies! As for Nameless, the summary sounded like my kind of read and some of the reviews I read made me want it so bad. Magno Girl just sounded like a fun superhero read which is why I picked it up! And the last two totally caught me off guard, they were sent to me by Penguin and that surprised me since it's my first time receiving unsolicited review copies. Although, I'm not a big realistic fiction reader, (probably just haven't found any that I really love) I have to admit that they look like a fun and humorous summer read.

Won

This Monstrous Thing by Mackenzi Lee

I was so HAPPY to find this in my mail box, I had entered a giveaway for it but not really thinking I was going to win! But I'm so glad I did! I mean its a retelling of Frankenstein...STEAMPUNK FRANKENSTEIN! *head explodes*

That's all for this week! Leave a comment and/or link to your Stacking the Shelves. I'll make sure to check them out too. Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome weekend!
