Stacking the Shelves # 7
Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves be it in virtual form or physical. You can include books you’ve won, bought, borrowed from the library or review books.
In the month of February I got...
Bought
Death Sworn (Death Sworn #1) by Leah Cypess
Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin #1) by Robin LaFevers
I've done pretty good this month since I stopped myself from buying more than 2 books even though the temptation was there! I kept telling myself no Betsy no! You already have so many books and no space to put them! The struggle is REAL you guys!
Won
The Leveller (The Leveller #1) by Julia Durango
Scorched (Scorched #1) by Mari Mancusi
Shattered (Scorched #2) by Mari Mancusi
Blue LIly, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle #3) by Maggie Stiefvater
I've been meaning to start the Scorched series by Mari Mancusi who is one of my favorite author's but before that I seriously have to thank Anya @ On Starships & Dragonwings for sending them both to me along with The Leveller, thank you so much Anya! As for Blue Lily, Lily Blue I am so in love with this series and also have to give a thanks to Read Now Sleep Later for this amazing book and also the signed book plates! Which I forgot to take pictures of, crap! *facepalm*
For Review
Ebooks
The Sin Eater's Daughter (The Sin Eater's Daughter #1) by Melinda Salisbury (Review)
Awoken (The Lucidites #1) by Sarah Noffke
Inked by Eric Smith
Forbidden (Forbidden #1) by Kimberely Griffiths Little
Physical books
The Name of the Star (Shades of London #1) by Maureen Johnson (I'm reviewing this for Of Spectacles and Books)
Black Moon: A Novel by Kenneth Calhoun
Escape Through the Wilderness by Gary Rodriguez
The Black Elf of Seaward Isle by Joni Parker
Watch the Shadows by Robin Winter
Okay, I'll admit I have quite a few books to review but you see I didn't buy any, right? Muahahaha Yep I found a loophole! Although most of these books don't have to be reviewed until another month or two. I am already reading them so yep I'm organized when I want to be. Although some of these books are a bit out of the genre I normally read, I decided to give them a chance. I want to widen my reading genre, let's see how it goes!
I really wanna read The Sin Eater's Daughter, I hope you enjoy it :) And great job on limiting your books buying, it is a struggle for sure!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Sts here! :)
Wow, that's a pretty nice haul, especially since you actually only bought two of them. Well done! I know you loved The Sin Eater's Daughter, but I had a rough time with it. That's why I made sure to stress in my review that so many people loved it but it just didn't work for me. I hope you enjoy all of your new pretties!

Oh wow!! Great haul!! I'm curious about The Leveller! It sounds like an intriguing read! And oooh! The Name of the Star! Loved that one! Still need to read the rest of the trilogy now that the third book released. I have them both, I just need to read them! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Mancusi's books! See them around at the stores and get intrigued, but I haven't read many reviews...maybe I need to check Goodreads out!
Hope you enjoy all your reads and congrats on the awesome wins!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
