My Review
Family Magic took me on a journey from the first page up until the last chapter. And yes, some of the character's frustrated me but they also made the story even more enjoyable. Especially with a character such as Sydlynn a teenager that has to juggle being both a witch and a demon plus some school bullies who don't know who they're messing with.
Sydlynn is very stubborn and usually let's her anger get the best of her. But for some reason she grew on me. Why? Because even when she slowly starts to realize that the way she is acting is wrong, she doesn't lose her spunk. She's caring and is really protective of her family. And yes she does argue with her mom a lot but they slowly start to learn and understand each other and I loved seeing that. As for the romance, I'm just really glad it didn't take precedence over the plot of the story. I especialy liked how the romance is just starting and hasn't fully developed just yet.
Overall, I seriously enjoyed this story that was full of witches, demons, and good vs evil. I loved all the character's and will be looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
