My Review

Heart's Tug is about Pat a young woman whose older stepsister goes to jail and because she feels indebted to her for raising her as a child, she decides to take in her stepsister's teen daughter, Rantida. When she goes to pick up Rantida from her grandmother's house, she sees her being kicked out of her home for becoming pregnant.

Pat being a kind and responsible person wants to give Rantida a second chance at a new life and decides to bring up the child as her own, so that Rantida can start anew. Five years later, Rantida is grown up and is working at the Peera Rancho Resort. While Pat is working at a different company as a organizer while taking care of Atom. There is a lot of gossip floating around about how Pat was abandoned by her husband but she doesn't mind one bit. Pat is happy to take care of Atom but sadly, Rantida wants nothing to do with Atom.

Then in comes Pete, Rantida's boss who is the owner of Peera Rancho Resort and every girl's dream. He is looking for a suitable bride in order to make his mother happy after he finds out she has cancer and doesn't have long to live. Not long after Rantida and Pete start dating, even though neither of them loves each other.

When Rantida introduces Pete to her aunt Pat, she dislikes him, especially after hearing gossip of him being a player and being older than Rantida. Everytime Pete and Pat meet, they butt heads and fight constantly (which is why I shipped them from the beginning, I just love bickering couples). Pete and Pat had such great chemistry and it was hard not to ship them although they pretty much hated each other in the beginning. But honestly their chemistry was off the charts.

(You just can't help but fall for him, he's so handsome!)

Sadly, Pete and Rantida become engaged but unbeknownst to all of them, Rantida's past and lies are coming back to haunt her in the form of Atom's father, Tarit who is shockingly Pete's cousin and has a sickly wife named Taksaorn.

That's when all the drama starts, with everybody with the wrong people and Rantida's lies coming to light. With all this drama happening around them, you'd think it couldn't get any worse but Pete has enemies that are after his life and won't stop until he's dead. With all this happening, Pete and Pat shouldn't have the time to fall for each other but they do. Slowly, Pete starts falling for Pat but he wants his mom to be happy and believes he needs to marry Rantida in order to do that. While Pat wants Rantida to have a happy life and decides it's best that she marry Pete. Unfortunately Rantida is meeting Tarit in secret and things are just getting even more complicated.

To be honest, Rantida would sometimes get on my nerves, she was just all over the place. She still loved Tarit after everything that happened and was just using Pete to get over him. Thank goodness Pete never fell for her and ended up falling in love with Pat. Pat and Pete were just my favorite couple in this whole drama, I loved how he loved teasing Pat (it made me laugh a lot).

As for the romance between Tarit and Rantida, it was romantic, I suppose. I did find Tarit and Atom's scenes adorable because he was finally meeting his father although neither of them knew it.
In the end, I quite enjoyed this drama and the roller coaster it took me on. It had everything that I was looking for, such as a strong female character, a good romance (amazing kiss scenes), action, and family dynamics and the ending was really good. It left me with a smile on my face. Definitely rewatching it!
